La Savane Des Esclaves
A “must see”. You will discover the history of the island from the first Caribbean tribe to the abolition of slavery. The villages constructed by Mr. LAROSE will help bring life on the “”Antan lontan”” (Long time ago) island to life, and immerse you in the multi-ethnic culture that characterizes Martinique.
You will also discover the medicinal properties of certain plants whose names will surprise you! Cocoa workshops and traditional dance performances are also regularly held here.
Domaine de la Pagerie
The Domaine de la Pagerie, an 18th-century dwelling, is a living testimony to the past. The birthplace of Empress Josephine and a place of remembrance, it is neither an alibi nor a resting place, and boasts a host of natural attractions. Come and enjoy the wild beauty of the Pagerie departmental estate.
A former distillery restored and enhanced.
A permanent exhibition: a land, a plant, a people, retracing three centuries of the sugar economy and a broad panorama of the many complex relationships involved. The history, techniques and production of rum from Martinique, the only rum in the world to have the Controlled designation of origin.
45 minutes away, the Habitation Clément: A magnificent site. This tour will immerse you in the cultural, industrial and artistic history of the island. The recently renovated boutique is a delight for the nose and taste buds.
The Habitation Belfort banana plantation, the Balata Garden, the Martinique Zoo, the CAP 110 Memorial and the 1902 Memorial in St. Pierre are all most interesting and informative visits in beautifully decorated settings.
Planète Dauphins
Laurent is the forerunner of dolphin outings in Martinique. He is now equipped with two 12-seater boats and has an almost infallible flair for finding spots where dozens of dolphins congregate and, with a bit of luck and depending on the season, admiring the passage of whales, including sperm whales. A must-see!

The Golf de l’Espérance des Trois Îlets is 5 minutes from the Habitation. It is an 18-hole international golf course created in 1976 by the famous Robert TRENT JONES Sr. This golf course covers 64 hectares nestled in the bay of Les Trois-Îlets. It offers as well a wonderful scenery as diversity of games.
